Discover ways to integrate computer science and literacy into your early elementary classroom. This hands-on session will share five sets of paired activities (with and without literacy integration) that have been developed and tested with K-2nd grade students. The activities focus on sequencing as a foundation for algorithm development and include both unplugged and plugged approaches.

What does computer science and computational thinking look like in different settings? Oftentimes we worry about different educational settings, different student needs, cultural relevancy, and more. This summer I had the chance to test this out on a larger scale through a pilot partnership to bring computational thinking to educators and students in Uganda.
